toolBox是一个3dsmax软件中的vrayProxy工具，可以让你快速地从所选对象直接创建代理到原始的Max文件中的位置，你有一些选择可以设置代理的多边形数量。


这个工具的主要特点是可以识别对象是否是一个实例组的一部分，并自动创建和设置实例化的vrayProxy对象，解决重复问题和不必要的内存过载。

Hello everyone, this time we bring have a nice free tool for you, it’s a VrayProxy tool that allow you to quickly create proxys from your selected objects directly to the actual (*.Max) file location, you have some options to play with like the number of polygons that you wish the proxy have…

This tool it’s part of the Tool Box that I’m developing during the spare time or low weights of work which is very rare, trying to maintain myself motivated and oiled!

The main feature of this tool over similar ones is that recognizes if the objects form part of an instance group of objects and automatically create and set with only one instantiated vrayProxy object (for all of the objects pool), solving the duplicity issue and the unnecessary memory overload.

It’s a very rough but maybe it will give you a little push up to your everyday workflow.

Later on we’re planning to do some implementations, like: Let you choose where to create the proxy files, change the new object’s WireColor automatically, decide a prefix for the name or stuff like that…

note: If the objects that you want to Proxy/instantiate are part of a groupHead object you have to ungroup all of them firs, there is an issue that I will solve soon.
