nendo设计团队的新作品，运用新技术所创作出来的彩色铅笔般飘逸色彩的“colored pencil tables”。2013年3月14号到31号，nendo在法国举行关于自然与艺术的一系列设计作品展出。“colored pencil tables”运用的是一种称为“udukuri”的工艺技术，这项技术能让柏树的纹理脱颖而出。

'udukuri' is a technique that involves carving away the soft parts of cypress boards so that the harder curves and lines of the wood grain stand out

the boards are then covered with paper and traced in colored pencil as a playful method of transferring the wood grain onto the paper

the pieces fuse the subtle shades and blur of the pencils with the raised wood grain - celebrating the dynamic qualities of texture and color
