Is this new Boomerang Bros.-inspired look a possible leak from the Italian plumber’s first outing on the 3DS,

? Possibly… hopefully. According to
Nintendo World Report
, this is “recently leaked official art” directly from Nintendo, and obviously inspired by those annoying Boomerang Bros. from
Super Mario Bros. 3
, and, you know, every Mario game after that. I’d love to see Mario get back at some enemies with those devilish boomerangs, and with how polished and Nintendo-official the artwork seems, I’m willing to bet this is legit.
